Drop-in Workshop (Makerspace)


Drop-In Workshops are the perfect opportunity for middle and high school students to bring their own tech-related ideas to life, with guidance from our experienced instructors. Whether you’re coding an app, designing a game, building with 3D printing, or exploring digital design, these workshops give you the freedom to pursue personal projects while having expert support at your side. Students can work at their own pace, get help when needed, and collaborate with peers in a creative, supportive environment.

If you don't have a personal project, we have you covered! We always have a few projects for kids to work on. View our Community Projects page for a list of active, completed, and proposed projects. Everyone is welcome to learn and contribute.

During these sessions, students have access to laptops, software, fabrication tools, and 3D printers—making the space feel like a small-scale makerspace designed just for young innovators. Best of all, no sign-up is required; simply drop in during scheduled workshop times and start creating.
